The Flags Hall is one of the most emblematic locations within the National Palace of Culture. It is decorated French-style, with wooden panels embedded on the walls, and with intricate plaster detailing on the ceiling. At the center, one can find the Naval Rose that pinpoints Kilometer 0 and above it, the biggest chandelier in the entire building.
Do you remember the plaque at the entrance? This is the center of the building, and the point where all roads officially branch from. Its windows are decorated with another collection of stained-glass pieces, made by Julio Urruela, with their motifs being historical in nature.
